The special women's retreat is designed to give women believers a well-deserved short break away from the daily stress of life and to escape the burnout and worn-down grimes of daily life. It is designed for you to come away like Jesus did often, to reflect, refresh, restore, renew and rejuvenate away from the spiritual distractions of your spiritual distractions of your daily life and stress. Discover your Value, Identity, and Purpose (coined your V.I.P.) in life!

Accessibility

We try to make our accommodation and retreat programmes as accessible as possible. For example, instead of the longer winding pathways, there are shorter daily walks in the properties immediate gardens available for those with mobility issues. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, we cannot guarantee that it is wheel-chair accessible. Some of the rooms are situated on the ground floor, however, it is first come, first serve. If you have mobility issues, please contact us directly ahead of booking and we will be happy to try to accommodate your needs.

Eco Practices

All of our meals served during the retreat are plant-based and use locally sourced seasonal produce.

Directions and Travel

A Scottish welcome awaits you at Broadmeadows House in the Yarrow Valley. The whole Broadmeadows Estate is found in the hills just outside the village of Selkirk in the picturesque Scottish Borders. It used to be a famous Sheep Farm, well-known for its Blackface sheep, and has since been transformed into a blend of sheep farm and forest, complete with newly carved footpaths with locally-made benches along the way for rest. The Big Hoose comprises almost the entire two middle floors of Broadmeadows House. The ground floor offers large formal reception, dining and drawing rooms, a snug for reading or watching TV, and kitchen with breakfast seating for up to 6 at a time. The first floor contains bedrooms, most with private modern bathroom & a games room with a half-size billiard table.
