Pause and Breathe are offering this weekend retreat, in a beautiful location near to Edinburgh. This retreat is all about resting. Taking time to do nothing at all.
During the retreat we’ll have the opportunity to discover the seven different types of rest, and to put some - if not all - into practice.
But really, this is a chance to lie down and not do very much of anything. To give our bodies the chance to recuperate, to show ourselves some care and attention. To nourish ourselves.
Our optional sessions will be: mindfulness meditation; yoga nidra (deep relaxation); Qi Gong; workshops discussing rest and a sharing circle. We will have the chance to walk in the local area. And plenty of time to do nothing - to journal, to rest. To be.
All food is included during the retreat. Most diets can be catered for, but please check before booking if you're unsure. Rooms are shared but are large, and we have a comfortable lounge with a log burner.
