I am very pleased to share this inspirational place, with its wonderful views and delightful woodland garden, offering 5 metre waterfalls including Douglas Firs 90 metres tall
You may be looking for an inspiring or peaceful break, a healing retreat, or to (re)discover your direction or sense of purpose. Here is the near-perfect setting!
With panoramic and utterly serene views from 1 bench, and babbling streams feeding 5 pools up to 9 metres wide, the caravan is in a sheltered and secluded spot
At the end of a no-through-road, birdsong is often all you will hear
There's half a mile of paths, and 14 benches positioned at the best viewpoints. Much of the woodland is fairly steep and some paths may be slightly muddy after rain.
There's level ground around the caravan and parking

The 2 berth caravan

Too tall?... 6 feet 1.5 inches but decreases to 6’ 0” at celling light

Main view from 3 opening windows is wild pasture and wild flowers in Summer, with many trees and with sky catching the sun from 11 am until around 4 pm

Outside sitting area

Exclusive to the caravan and not overlooked

The outside sitting area with 2 sun loungers which you see in the gallery pictures is protected by screening from being overlooked by anyone else using the rest of the woodland.
In the picture here, you see an opaque white kitchen window and screened doorway/ramp for complete privacy
There is a path running to the left of the screening which goes to and from my bungalow and is used occasionally by me, very occasional house guests and postman/couriers.
So you won’t see or hear these passers by.

Short Stays

You are welcome for less than 7 nights (or longer)

The minimum price is for 3 nights even if you only want 2 nights.

The price varies according to the month but in October for example, it would be £199
and £266 for 5 nights.

There will be a discount off the 7 night price for stays of 14 or more nights.

The Bathroom

High standard for caravan bathrooms

A door with towel rail opens into this compartment, which contains curtained-off shower with hot water for 5 minutes of continuous flow, a washbasin and a "minimal flush" toilet with valve to waste tank. (Waste tank is replaced by me from outside if needed)

There is a bright light, mirror-fronted cabinet as well as separate long mirror.

Above is a skylight with flyscreen.

There is a "bathmat" for stepping out of the shower.

There is also an optional conventional flushing toilet, bidet, washbasin and washing machine in a tent 100 metres away.
