Description

As an intimate retreat of just 6 people, we'll be exploring Cornwall's coastal & countryside trails, enjoying a half day riding experience & dipping our toes in a range of wild swimming locations. We'll enjoy daily yoga & meditation sessions in our gorgeous bell tent, each session crafted to restore, rest, or revitalise your body & your mind. Breakfast, lunch & dinner are included in the price, along with 4 nights accommodation at Higher Trewithen in Stithians, a beautifully rustic, eco-conscious converted farm surrounded by nature & home to a range of rare breed animals & 2 retired racehorses Kingy & Smoky. Let us introduce you to a new kind of retreat - Walk, Ride & Swim.

Accessibility

Due to the nature of the activities on this retreat, a certain level of mobility is required. Please do contact us if you have any questions about accessibility needs before booking. The riding school has a 13 stone weight limit to ensure the health and safety of riders, staff & horses.

Eco Practices

A deep love for nature & the environment is at the heart of our retreats. Our accommodation is registered with Green Tourism & undergoes annual assessment to ensure that the impact on the planet is more positive than negative. The accommodation uses eco-friendly & cruelty free cleaning, gardening & decorating practices in all areas of operation & activity gives back to the local community & environment. All meals will be made using local ingredients wherever possible. Meals will be predominantly vegetarian with the exception of lunch on the riding day which we will be enjoying a pasty lunch with options for fillings.

Directions and Travel

Your retreat begins at Higher Trewithen Holiday Cottages, Higher Trewithen, Stithians, Truro, Cornwall. Unless you are using Google Maps, then our postcode may not take you to our door. But, once you have reached Trewithen Cottage, you are almost there. Keep going, and, as you see a babbling brook on your right, you will pass over a little bridge and past Lower Trewithen. Go over another small bridge and take the immediate right turn. Continue up the hill and look for a green sign for Higher Trewithen. We are the first house on the left.
