Among the towering trees and rolling green and rocky vistas 2000 meters above sea level in Drakensberg Mountain range in South Africa range you will find our haven. An off-grid establishment fully self sustained.
Initially bought by clinical psychologist 20's years ago, this beautiful remote piece of land was nothing but the rocky remains of ancient runes of the Koi San people that has lived in the mountains from the beginning our human existence. Each building, structure & stone erect since then was been built by hand using mostly the natural stones of the area.
As part of the legendary "Adams Calendar" runes, this farm has since became a place that others could come for healing & renewal, a place to be present in the now.
The space to unwind & return
The Dharma Centre is our central space of the farm. "Dharma", in the sacred language of Sanskrit is known as your purpose.
Whether being used to commune with friends by the fire place or for times of introspection alone or with a facilitator, the Dharma centre is the hearth of the farm.
Accented with influences from around the world, the diversity of art; textures allows one to adorn in the ever changing ebb and flow of life and expressions of the world beyond our reach. We take great pride in representing the many great traditions through our decor.

Practice your purpose
The Dharma workshop space is designed to encapsulate whichever modality of spirituality or physical foundation you choose to practice during your stay.
Filled with pillows, open floor, lantern chandeliers and a magnificent fireplace, this is the workshop space of your dreams. A little cold during winter so make sure to come prepared.
Resting Space
Our Khayas were created to house our retreat/workshop guests during their stay.
Built with their own indoor fire places, the Khayas are your resting space for the new day ahead.
With the Dharma kitchen a stones throw away and 2 separate bathrooms also within the area, communal sharing becomes easy and spacious.

Everything we do and practice is governed by awareness of how to use the land we are on in the most dignified manner and the way in how we represent all of the difference facets of spirit and self. Be it through art work, sculptures or flowers, everything is placed to open your senses and stretch your perception of life and this magnificent Earth we live on.
Our farm is completely off the grid and self-sustained. We believe in not having to rely on the exterior sources and believe in keeping our carbon footprint as low as possible on this land.

Gas for stoves & fridge/freezers
Cell phone reception & wifi
Wifi & Cell Phones
We do not provide Wi-Fi but there is cellular reception in some areas of the farm where a dongle will work to connect you to the Internet. You can log on anytime to check in with family, friends and work but we recommend using your retreat as a chance to un-plug.
Download apps such as “What’s App” prior to arrival for free international calling and texting over Wi-Fi. Keep your cell phone on airplane mode with Wi-Fi on to avoid expensive international charges. We do have a telephone to make and receive emergency calls. Please make sure to bring a power bank as there is limited electricity in allocated areas.
Vodacom network is stronger than MTN. Please advise your guests that signal might be strong or weaker in certain areas of the farm.
Move around with mountain
Situated just over 2000 meters high, just within reach of the clouds, the farm lends itself to some brilliant trail running. Besides the elevation, the farm of 300 hectares safe from the worries of the outside world.
This mountain retreat is a secret location for nature enthusiasts who are wanting a variety of activities they can partake in whilst still having the comfort of sitting on their step whilst watching it all go by.

With many trails available at different distances, we cater for your beginner walker to your avid hiker who wants to spend 6 hours exploring our biome.
Transportation
A 4x4 is needed to drive up to the farm and takes approximately 40 minutes. It is a rough drive yet stunning drive- we encourage you to embrace this as part of the fun and adventure, and enjoy the view along the way.
Our shuttle can be arranged in advance allowing 8 guests at a time with a trailer. R600 per round trip, upon arrival and departure.
We highly suggests scheduling your attendees in groups when meeting the shuttle at our parking area. The best idea is to use a place in Dullstroom to meet and then have two groups two hours apart as to not create any issues for your guests.
Secured parking is R50 per car for the weekend should you make use of the parking area. Please make sure to pay this in cash to the man who is watching the cars at the parking sect
