L'Heritier is a charming country property that is composed of a number of white stone buildings, accomadation is provided in either the 3 bedroom Gite, the newly renovated Studio or the stunning Barn.
We can host up to 8 guests and in single, twin or double rooms.
The extensive grounds which overlook a nearby lake also offer a large outdoor pool and a newly renovated Atelier. This is the perfect space to host group activites.
Our charming gite can sleep 4 people over 3 bedrooms.
All bedrooms are on the first floor.

A smaller double room suitable for one unless there are a couple willing to share and a single.
There is a bathroom with toilet on the first floor and a shower room with toilet on the ground floor.
The gite boasts a large living dining room with woodburning stove and a fully functional kitchen.

The studio is a pretty self-contained stone cottage, that comfortably sleeps 2 in a double bed. There is a large walk-in shower and a well equipped kitchen area. This newly renovated space offers reversible air-conditioning.

Having worked as a private chef for over 20 years. l offer a fully catered for experience for your retreat guests. Focusing on local, seasonal, and healthy meals I am happy to adapt my food to suit your needs and dietary requirements.
Depending on the weather, meals can be served either outside on a covered terrace overlooking the nearby lake, in the grounds or in the gite.
This is a recently renovated stone building that offers a large indoor space in which to host group activities such as yoga, Pilates, art and conference workshops.

L’Heritier sits in a hectare of grassland with a large portion dedicated to wild flowers that are an absolute joy in the spring time. The land overlooks the nearby Lake Brayssou which can easily be accessed on foot from the property. The outdoor pool area offers plenty of seating and is surrounded by heavenly scented lavender bushes.
L’Heritier is an attractive hamlet of white stone buildings set in the commune of Parranquet. Located in the Lot et Garonne department of France close to the borders of the Dordogne region.
The main property overlooks a nearby lake where you can fish, bird watch or enjoy a picnic.
The nearby villages of Villereal and Monpazier are listed as Plus Beaux Villages in France. These pretty market towns have a good selection of commerce, bars and restaurants and a wealth of history and stunning architecture. Both offer weekly outdoor markets where you can buy local seasonal produce and artisan crafts.
The Dordogne River is within a 30-minute drive away and there are an abundance of Chateaux and local vineyards to visit locally.
The barn bedroom and studio both offer groundfloor accomodation and are accessed from the courtyard. We aim to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible so please do get in touch if you have any specific queries about accessibilty.
We use environmental cleaning products as much as possible as run our property on a fosse septic system which is a finely balanced ecosystem in itself.
All our waste is recycled and green matter composted.
Our food is locally sourced and seasonal wherever possible as we choose to support local producers who provide a fantastic range of fruit, vegetable, cheese and meat products throughout the year.
