Nestled between four mountains with breath-taking views, Fforest Barn stylishly blends ancient and modern, linking a 17th century oak-beamed barn and a Dutch barn. Purpose-built to hold transformative retreats that connect people to nature, it holds up to 20 people with accommodation options, ranging from lavish indoor bedrooms to enchanting gypsy caravans, ecopod and teacher’s cabin. The Dutch barn teaching space is large enough for 25 theatre-style or 14 doing yoga, with AV for projection, music, films and blackout. The Old Barn is for hanging out, and the kitchen is available self-catering or with our chef. There’s a hot tub and steam shower room. Just minutes from the Llanthony Valley, Sugar Loaf Mountain & Patrishow Church.
The beautiful architectural space was renovated with an eco-friendly, low-carbon and energy approach, maintaining many restored features from the original buildings and maximising insulation.
It’s all underfloor heating, powered by solar and a wood-burning boiler fire.
There’s no light or noise pollution away from roads.
There are walks in every direction –no need to use a car.
