Deep in rural Wales amidst the rolling hills surrounding the historic and pretty town of Llanidloes, the venue includes two beautiful barn conversions and a large farmhouse. The heating from renewable biomass provides underfloor heating to the spacious fully equipped yoga shala and to the ensuite accommodation. Woodburning stoves also ensure a super-warm welcome all year round! Delicious vegetarian meals and the farm’s own pure spring water provide nourishment for your retreat. Beautiful gardens with a stream provide a lovely outdoor dining space for those warmer days. Enjoy the wild swimming lake, sauna, gym and camp fire circle. Extensive views, dark skies full of stars, and plenty of walks. Only around 3.5 hours from London and 2.5 from Manchester or Birmingham by road or train.
The barns surround the old farmyard, now a lovely space with gardens, a stream, and an outdoor dining area for those warmer days. There is also a gym and Finnish sauna.
In the fields below the barns there is a swimming and boating pond, plus a camp fire area with log seating.
The comfortable accommodation is finished to a high standard with single, double, twin and triple rooms, with all but two of the rooms en-suite, providing accommodation in total for around 28. So there is also plenty of space to accommodate accompanying non-yoga partners or friends.
Wood burning stoves also ensure the barns are always super-cosy and ideal as an all year round destination, with a comfy sitting room (with big screen TV and Sky films if required) Broadband wi-fi is on site. There are also handy drying racks and a laundry.
The yoga room is large, airy and spacious, currently around 60 sq. metres, but will be extended to 90 sq metres by 2017. It has a wooden floor, and like the rest of the accommodation, benefits from warm under floor heating, fired by the eco-biomass boiler.
