Description

During the morning there will be hatha yoga sessions, fun and interactive self-discovery, t’ai chi and training in mindfulness and meditation. Sessions in the afternoon and evening include yoga meets dance, movement meditations, voice and self-expression, mindfulness in nature and yoga nidra
Outside the sessions there are plenty of activities available too including:
• Guided walks through the hills and valleys directly from the cottage
• Paddleboarding, swimming and canoeing on the lake in front of the cottage
• Hot tub and sauna in the gardens
• Djembe drumming round the fire
• Barbecues on the patio
• Music and dancing

Eco Practices

include food sourcing, (50% organic), natural carpets and paints, recycling, composting, eco-friendly toiletries, low energy lighting

Opening Times and Prices

In 2024 the retreat runs 3 times, each a week long, Sunday evening to Saturday morning. The first is June 30 - July 6. The second runs from July 7 - 13. The final one is a week of Mindfulness in Nature from August 4 - 10. The price is inclusive of all accommodation, delicious vegetarian meals, activities and workshops. Shared twin room from £725 - £785. Single rooms from £940 - £980

On the A591 half way between Ambleside and Grasmere.

By train

To Windermere station then by bus number 555 or 599 direction Grasmere to Nab Cottage. The bus will stop outside if you ask.
